This Is How Do Ocean Waves Form And Why They Are Continuous?

Normal ocean waves result from the frictional drag of wind on the surface of the water. The waves you observe at a given beach may originate thousands of kilometres away, whereas tsunami waves are caused by displacement of the crust caused by an earthquake. Waves have a crest and a trough, the distance between crests being known as the wavelength. Waves travel in groups called a wave train. Waves are not all moving at the same speed. When one wave catches up to another you can end up with an even higher wave. This is called constructive interference.  Ocean waves can travel hundreds of kilometres before they reach the land. The distance of water over which the wind has blown is called the fetch. A long fetch will result in big waves and big waves carry with them a tremendous amount of energy. Storms create destructive waves thus a lot of erosion takes place during storms,Even on calm days it is possible to get big waves as these ones have been generated in a storm somewhere else some ti

WWF Living Planet Report 2020 is Literally Very Shocking

Existing Wildlife on the Earth Facing Soaring Threat Due To Decrease in Population By 68% Since 1970 T he WWF (World Wildlife Fund} Living Planet 2020 has released a report on Wednesday, founded that the world's wildlife inhabitants have been shrunk by 68% between the years 1970- 2016. The report also included that 75%of the world’s glaciers have been massively affected and 85% of the existing wetlands on the earth have been depleted.  The activities which have hugely contributed to the ecosystem loss in the past several decades are increased agriculture, mega constructions, urbanization, depletion of forests for various products, trophy hunting’s taking place, land degradation and a massive part of the ocean has been overfished. While the tropical sub-regions Latin America has been highly exploited by 94%(highest in the world than any other country) according to the Living Planet Index 2020. Globally the affected continents and countries which have faced biodiversity los

Most Beautiful Astonishing Patterns That Can be Seen in Mother Nature

1.Spots on Giraffe The spots (patches) made on the giraffe are for camouflage and behind each single patch there are branch of blood vessels. 2.Wing of a butterfly. Butterflies  represents some of the most prominent color that are found in nature.  3.Water Droplets on a leaf The tiny fascinating rain drops or the  moisture dew scattered on the leaf creates a remarkable image before or eyes. 4.Mollusk shell The mollusk shells are perfect examples of an printed design. So the shell uses a organ called mantle to create it, and within the mantle secretory cells which produce pigment needed for the design.

Why wood is brown in colour?

Most of the time generally when we see wood it appears to be brown due to the photons absorbed by them which are brown in color. While the color of wood is determined by its chemical makeup and its quantum mechanical interaction with light(photons). In fact it is made up of carbon chains with hydrogen and some other elements like nitrogen, oxygen, and trace minerals. So when there  is a war going on between trees and their parasites, including fungi, bacteria, isects etc. Therefore the trees rely mostly on chemical warfare, by lacing their cells with chemicals that deter the parasites and some of these chemicals are of neutral color and the resulting wood appears pale and colorless, but some are of striking color and this is what produces the colorful streaks that follow the grain.

Ever thought or wondered why does the perfume spread in air too fast?

It happens because when we release the perfume into the air, diffusion occurs. Being a compressed chemical, once we spray it, it turns into a gas and the molecules get mixed with the air particles, and this tendency to occupy any volume or space available to them is called diffusion. As a result, when the molecules are loosely packed, they are free to hasten in every direction, which makes them permeate the nearby surrounding along with the air. So don’t have to use our hands to spread the fragrance everywhere, including our body. Hence it gets blended on its own. Thereupon when we spray the perfume the fragrance spreads faster.

The Joy Of Rain, An Mesmerising Experience Ever I had

One day in the morning while I was sleeping deeply and within few minutes ominous clouds covered the sky, chilling high winds blew and sweet, pleasant odor of sand started coming, soon there was sand blowing everywhere. The windows and doors started banging. Within the moment the rain, storm, lightning, and thunder rumbled into the sky, and suddenly from somewhere a drop of rain fell upon my head and it was immensely cold like ice water. I don’t know from where does it came from, for a moment I thought the raindrop could have come from the cracks in which were present in the wall or through the window along with the wind. Although it was a time for joy and happiness as rain & winds brought the mercury down, there was a relief from humid humiliating temperature and there upon when I stepped into in the showering rain, it was the coolest feeling ever I had experienced. The Day At Botanical Garden

I kicked off my day at 5:00 am after suddenly waking up from an appalling scary ghost dream, which gave me goosebumps. It was like I was lost in the dream and if I was standing big and vast ancient graveyard and gazed at a cadaver dangling from the tree and a lot of blood was spluttering from his body, upon seeing it I ran as fast I could away from it but abruptly fell upon a coffin and woke up with a huge shriek. I was getting late for the cardio workout, hurriedly got ready and took the bicycle out to reach the Botanical garden. In between the picturesque view of the landscape was incredible, as the sun was peeking up from behind the mountain. But a cold chilling and pricking flurry was blowing as if it was wintertime, so I took my camera out and the clicked beautiful stunning view and recapitulated my journey. The way to the garden was 10kms more to cycle making too hard to cycle more as muscles of the leg were paining, somehow I reached the garden within 20mins. There were a lo
